Usage

A standalone page — reached via the “Upgrade your plan” link from a low-quota banner, or a direct bookmark — that shows this billing period’s event consumption in one place.

📷 Screenshot: the Usage page with the events meter at 80%+ and the warning copy — pending Task 2.

What you see

Events this period

A count of events used against your plan’s limit, a percent, and a progress bar that changes color as you approach the cap: green under 80%, amber from 80–99%, red at 100%.

The description line changes with your usage: “Notifications fire automatically at 80% and 100% to prevent surprise bills” below 80%, “You are approaching your monthly event budget” from 80–99%, and “Ingestion paused until next billing period or plan upgrade” at 100%.

Below the meter, a line states how many days remain until the period resets.

Spend cap

Org-scoped only (visible when the page is reached with ?org= set): a dollar cap that pauses ingestion once monthly spend exceeds it. Below the required tier, the card shows an upgrade prompt instead of the input.

How to use it

  • Watch the percent and color of the events meter — amber means you’re within range of the cap, red means ingestion is paused until the period resets or you upgrade.
  • Set or clear a spend cap from this page once your plan supports it.
  • Follow Back to billing to return to the full plan and invoice view.

Before you have data

A fresh org isn’t blanked — it shows a real 0 against the plan’s limit (e.g. 0 / 500) with a 0% bar, not a placeholder state.

  • Billing — the plan, limits, and invoices this usage counts against.
